A same-name match can identify the wrong person, and a missing roster entry does not prove release. Likewise, “Released” or “Not in Custody” describes only the system searched and does not rule out another hold, transfer, or supervision.

Records Stay With Agencies
Missouri Released Inmates does not host jail rosters, inmate files, booking photographs, warrants, court records, parole files, or official release documents. It points to agencies and locators that maintain those materials. To confirm custody or obtain an official record, contact the appropriate sheriff, jail or regional facility, the Missouri Department of Corrections, the court clerk, BOP, ICE, or the office that issued the document.
A charge is not the same as a conviction, and release from one system does not erase the court case or establish that every form of custody and supervision has ended.
